The health and safety of our community is our #1 priority. We are excited to welcome you back to our East LA studio, and we’re looking forward to flowing together safely. Here’s everything you need to know about the safety measures and cleaning procedures we’re implementing plus what to expect for your next in-person class.


THE scoop

  • Pre-registration is ENCOURAGED.

  • Walk-ins are welcome. 

  • Limited spots are available for in-person classes.

  • Late entries will not be allowed. No exceptions will be made.

preparing for class

  • Say goodbye to your phone, put your phone on silent and put it away for the duration of class. Don’t worry, your phone will be waiting for you when you finish class. 

  • Dress comfy, yoga pants, sweats, even pajama pants will work. Wear anything that you can comfortably move in. Remember, it’s not about the look, it’s about the feel.

  • Please avoid heavy perfumes and strong scents.

  • Bring your own water, and make sure you are fueled (i.e. not too hungry and not too full).

registering for class

  • Sign up for class on the website or app. If you are singing up for an in person class, make sure the class you’re signing up for says “IN PERSON”

  • When signing up for class you will be asked to agree to our People’s Yoga Health + Safety Declaration. Please make sure you read and understand the Declaration before attending in person class. 

  • You will receive an email confirming your registration. 

  • Be prepared to show proof of this email confirmation when attending class if asked by the instructor.

upon arrival

  • Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class starts and form a line outside.

  • We will open the studio 5 minutes before class begins.

  • Upon entry, please take off your shoes and put them in the cubbies.

  • Give your name to the instructor.

  • Then find a marked place to set up your mat and props.

  • Once class begins, we will lock the door for the duration of class.

  • Late entries will not be permitted.

cancellation fee

  • Due to limited space and in an effort to accommodate a full class, we are strictly enforcing a cancellation policy. Class must be canceled 2 hours before class starts or you will be charged a $10 cancellation fee.

mats & EQUIPMENT

  • We encourage you to bring your own mat and props, and you are also welcome to borrow our shared props.

refunds, transfers & Cancellations

  • All sales are final.

  • Please only register for the classes you plan to attend.

  • No refunds, transfers or credits will be given.

client & staff RESPONSIBILITY

  • Please stay home if:

  • you have a cough, sore throat, or any symptoms of Covid-19.

  • you have a measured temperature greater than or equal to 100 degrees Fahrenheit (37.8 degrees Celsius).

  • you've had known close contact with a person who is lab-confirmed to have COVID-19 or if you are currently under quarantine or isolation.

  • If you test positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of your last studio visit, please email your studio location immediately, and we’ll immediately notify all potentially exposed people. From there, we WILL follow the CDC procedures to thoroughly disinfect the studio.

air filturaiton

  • To ensure optimal air quality, our studio has HEPA air purifiers to filter the air and reduce airborne contaminants, including viruses, throughout class. In between classes, we will open our doors and allow the natural air to flow.

late arrival

  • There is no late entry for students once class begins.

  • Late arrival is considered a late cancellation and will not be given a refund.

RETAIL + EQUIPMENT

  • Our retail is still available! If you’d like to make a contactless purchase in person, please let your instructor know after class.

PARKING

  • Ample parking is available in the Metro Plaza where we are located
